Who We Are
Kratky Strawberries is an informational website about growing strawberries with the Kratky method of hydroponics. Our website address is https://kratkystrawberries.com.
What We Collect and Why
Messages you send us. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
Spam protection. This site uses the CleanTalk anti-spam service. It may process your IP address, email address and the content of a form submission to decide whether it is spam.
Cookies
This site sets a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work and to block spam. We do not run our own advertising. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy.
Affiliate Links and Amazon
Some links on this site are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you click one of these links, Amazon may set cookies in your browser to record the referral. Product images shown beside those links are loaded from Amazon, which means Amazon receives your IP address when the page loads.
Other Third-Party Services
Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you view a page. This site also links to other websites, including sister sites in our network. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers described above, and only as far as they need it to provide their service.
How Long We Keep Data
We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. Server logs and spam-protection records are kept according to the retention periods of those providers.
Your Rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Send your request through our contact page.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
